Carlisle man jailed for five years after setting fire to wife’s bed

AN arsonist has been jailed for starting a blaze at his family home in Carlisle. Three young children were inside the property when Thomas Galloway, 22, used hairspray and a lighter to set fire to his wife's bed while she was in it.
